HelmGuard is a fixed premium Protection & Indemnity insurance designed for the needs of the owners, managers and operators of inter-island, coastal and short sea passage vessels.
We cover multiple territories!
HelmGuard will accept vessels up to 10,000 GT that are owned, managed or operated by entities based in the Middle East and all countries to the East, excluding Korea and China. HelmGuard will accept a wide variety of vessels including tugs, barges, LCTs, dry cargo, bulkers, oil tankers, LNG, LPG, chemical, supply vessels, anchor handlers, container carriers however it will not provide coverage for passenger vessels or fishing vessels.

HelmGuard can arrange the issuance of Athens 2002 PLR War blue cards, MLC Certification, Bunker Blue cards, Nairobi International Convention of Removal of Wreck Blue cards, Civil Liability Convention Blue cards and other regulatory documents that may be required to facilitate the smooth trading of your vessels.
